Digital Producer - Loose Women
The Role
The team
The Daytime Digital Team produces all the social, website, app, and branded content for the Daytime brands. Firmly embedded in shows, the team creates and curates the best content from across Daytime’s award-winning output.
An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Loose Women team for a Digital Producer - who will work within the show to maximise the brand’s impact on digital channels, editorially select the most impactful content - and support the show with their digital requirements. Please note this role is based full-time in Studioworks during TX hours.
The role
You will create video, image and text content to appeal to audiences, ensure ITV and Loose Women feel like a modern and authentic brand, with the right tone of voice and optimise the publishing of this content for maximum effect.
This role will also require you to work closely with the Loose Women editorial team, planning the best way to tease and promote content - along with being responsible for key social channels (often working independently).
The ideal candidate will also have experience working with on-screen talent and contributors and know how to manage and foster those relationships.
You’ll have a broad understanding of the news agenda - and have the editorial insight to select the right piece of content, for the right platform at the right time. An understanding of media law and editorial balance is critical.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsibility for planning and publishing day-to-day content, turning around content quickly and to the highest standards
- Make relevant and high-quality content, but most importantly optimise where that content goes and how it reaches relevant audiences.
- Create and publish video, image and text content which supports campaigns and digital content priorities, ensuring it meets set objectives and KPIs
- Understand how to optimise content for individual platforms to achieve the desired result, focusing specifically on reaching the most appropriate audience to market the programme and also engage with our viewers
- Keep up to date on changes to platforms, consider how they might impact what Loose Women does and pitch ideas which help make the most of platforms
- Work to strict timelines and feedback across the life cycle of the programme
- Analyse the data to make informed choices about how and when to publish content
- Produce content which is of the highest possible quality, taking ownership of your publishing and providing regular feedback to stakeholders
- Manage relationships across production - along with on-screen talent and presenter
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Experience creating digital content across digital platforms at a major brand/news organisation
- Experience working in an editorial / journalistic environment
- Expert in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After-Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Experience using data to inform decisions about what content to publish, when and where
- Significant knowledge about social platforms and optimal publishing processes
- Excellent editorial judgement
- Excellent spelling and grammar
- Experience working with on-screen talent
- Can-do, self-starter attitude who can work independently to get things done
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Ability to plan and publish day-to-day content, with a fast turnaround and to the highest standards
- Ability to create high-quality content and optimise its placement and distribution to reach target audiences and engagement with viewers
- Knowledge of continuous changes in social media platforms and how they might impact the show as well as pitching ideas which help make the most of platforms
- Confident working under strict deadlines and feedback across the life cycle of the programme
- Relationship building and management across productions along with on-screen talent and presenters

What is the magic of ITV?
It starts with a simple love of television. Watching it, creating it, talking about it. Whether it’s daytime or primetime, for downtime or anytime.
We’re inspired by our audiences. Who helps shape what we make. Standing shoulder to shoulder with them. Because what matters to them, matters to us.
Starting conversations. Winning hearts. Changing minds and sometimes even society itself. Big or small, what we make makes an impact.
