The Role
The team
Step into the vibrant world of Emmerdale as a Graphic Artist and become an indispensable part of the production team! You'll be at the heart of creating high-quality, authentic artwork, from on-screen digital graphics for mobile phones and IT equipment to various props. Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Prop Chargehands, bringing the script's creative vision to life and directly contributing to the show's on-screen reality, making you an essential part of the production team.
The role
Dive into the dynamic world of television production where you'll be at the forefront of creating captivating prop graphics using cutting-edge software and materials. You'll build strong relationships with specialist suppliers and collaborate with a diverse team, from Art Directors to Prop Chargehands, ensuring every graphic element, from vehicle applications to on-screen digital displays, is perfectly executed. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a passion for bringing stories to life through visual artistry, this is your chance to make a significant impact on a beloved show!
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Proven experience of a minimum of 12 cumulative months working as a Graphic Designer in Television drama.
- Experience working in a pressurised work environment, delivering to tight production deadlines.
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and ability to proficiently use design software - illustrator & Photoshop.
- Excellent knowledge of computer image manipulation and graphics techniques, including fonts and calligraphy.
- Flexible approach to workload and working hours.

- Possess a high degree of creative and organisational skills with precise attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritise and meet tight production deadlines.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Creative flare - Excellent proven track record of a wide range of Graphic Design projects.
