The role

This role will be working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to input into the marketing and publicity annual plan for ITV Studios in EMEA. Deliver integrated, high-impact marketing campaigns for lead programs and industry events. Feed into & execute the annual global publicity plan.

Main responsibilities

CAMPAIGN & BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and execute 360 world-class marketing campaign plans for assigned priority titles that drive the ITVS brand internationally, support sales on these titles, and then deliver maximum value to broadcaster launches.
  • Manage the development and creation of all marketing materials for ITVS priority shows that will include artwork, advertising, on-air and digital communications – writing solid creative briefs and managing agencies. Regularly communicate the plans and campaign elements to the Marketing team and other stakeholders as directed.

MARKETS & FESTIVALS

  • Produce & deliver world-class marketing collateral for markets & festivals, including MIPCOM and our ITVS Drama Festival. Work with the relevant teams on stand plans, visuals, catalogues and brochures from brief to agency management and delivery of the final print. Produce & circulate post-event evaluations.
  • Project manage talent access, including talent, publicist, agent, production relationships and organise press junkets, set visits and other publicity events as required.

B2C MANAGEMENT

  • Develop strong relationships with broadcaster marketing/publicity teams in EMEA to give an industry-leading after-sales service.
  • Collaboratively work with partners to develop marketing campaigns that ensure a successful brand launch in the territory to build global brands. Regularly circulate broadcaster campaigns and launch info to key stakeholders internally.
  • Approve marketing/publicity campaigns produced by partners in assigned territories. Arrange publicity access and requests as required.
  • Manage the delivery of all available marketing materials to partner marketing teams.

B2B MANAGEMENT

  • Build strong relationships and work closely with the EMEA sales team to understand their sales targets and priorities.
  • Be responsible for a live marketing calendar for EMEA, showing key marketing initiatives for programme sell-in as well as launch dates of priority titles across key territories. Circulate regularly to stakeholders.

MISC

  • Assist the Senior Marketing Manager and the rest of the team with all projects necessary to help deliver the annual ITV Studios marketing strategy.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Excellent track record in marketing with relevant experience in a media marketing environment
  • Proven experience in producing events — from producing shows and briefing talent and producers to managing the creation of creative materials through to final delivery and deadline.
  • Good knowledge of the international tv and content distribution industry.
  • Previous experience of working with international broadcasters on a global brand.
  • Excellent experience in briefing, managing agencies, and design & video production projects through to final delivery.

  • Excellent project management, administrative & IT skills and strong organisational ability with attention to detail
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels, both internally and externally
