The Role

People Development Coordinator

We’re looking for a highly organised People Development Coordinator to join our Resourcing & Development (R&D) team. This role plays a vital part in coordinating the activity of our R&D Centre of Expertise and delivering an excellent learning experience for ITV colleagues. You'll also provide hands-on support across a variety of learning and talent projects, including our Ambassador Network.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in HR, Learning & Development or event coordination who’s passionate about employee experience, team support and professional development.

The team

The Resourcing & Development team drives ITV’s people development strategy. From leadership programmes to talent pipelines and colleague engagement, we design and deliver the initiatives that enable our people to thrive. This role sits at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively, from learning logistics to internal campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end learning experiences, including supplier liaison, bookings, scheduling, and communications
  • Organise logistics for R&D events and activities, including room bookings, AV, invites and on-the-day support
  • Support in pan ITV wide projects such as ITV Talent Attraction, ITVCareers websites, Recruitment events.
  • Support flagship programmes such as the Engagement Survey, Ambassador Network, and Talent development schemes (e.g. RISE, High Potential)
  • Manage internal and external correspondence, maintaining strong business relationships
  • Maintain and update myITV content and learning materials
  • Raise and track Purchase Orders and assist with presentation creation
  • Conduct research and data gathering to support projects and programme evaluation
  • Draft and send joining instructions and follow-up communications for development events
  • Support with evaluation of development events and suggest improvements based on feedback
  • Assist with the creation of learning collateral, including social media content and branded merchandise

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Previous experience in HR, Talent, Learning & Development, or strong event management background.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of Google Suite and AI tools.
  • Proven experience coordinating workshops and events.
  • Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail across multiple projects.

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

  • Ability to plan and organise workload proactively across multiple projects while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Understanding of Oracle Fusion beneficial
  • Proven ability to build relationships across teams, departments, and at various organisational levels.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when dealing with change.
  • Commitment to accuracy and thorough understanding in your work.
  • A drive to explore new ways of working to enhance process efficiency.
  • Able to work independently using your own initiative.
  • Proficient in Google Suite applications (Calendar, Gmail, Slides, Docs, Sheets).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
