Senior Internal Communications Manager
We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Internal Communications Manager to lead, manage and develop our channels so we can continue to engage and connect with our people.
You’ll act as a trusted communications partner to senior stakeholders, developing and delivering creative strategies and campaigns that bring ITV’s culture and strategy to life. This is a dynamic and hands-on team that combines strategic thinking with creative execution, from advising senior leaders to producing engaging content, running events, and managing key channels.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an established communications professional to own a diverse remit and make a significant impact on how our colleagues connect with our business. If you’re a strategic thinker and a hands-on doer, we’d love to hear from you.
We make telly — content that matters to millions. If you want to work in a changeable, fast-paced, creative, and content-driven environment, this could be the opportunity for you.
The team
We’re a creative, fast-paced team that connects colleagues across ITV. We help shape our culture, celebrate success, and make sure everyone feels part of our story. Our Internal Communications team plays a pivotal role in driving engagement, collaboration, and understanding across all areas of our business.
If you love great telly and shows that bring people together and you’re passionate about creating communications that inspire and unite people - this is the team for you.
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive internal communications channel and campaign strategy.
Manage the air traffic control for campaigns using the channels
Manage all colleague internal communication channels - end to end
Improve, launch, and manage new intranet functionality
Develop creative and engaging campaigns
Manage internal events from concept to execution.
Manage internal videos - from script writing to production
Content creation and graphic production for internal channels and communications campaigns
Generate engaging employee stories and "people pieces" to highlight colleagues, celebrate successes, and build a sense of connection.
Establish clear metrics and regularly measure channels and campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and inform future strategy.
Partner with our regular stakeholders including People and the Ambassador team, DEI and our employee networks and technology, providing expert counsel on the best way to use our channels to achieve their goals.
Lead and Coordinate our three social committees across London, Leeds and Manchester
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- At least 5+ years in a senior Internal Communications role, within a large, fast-paced complex organisation.

- Expertise in managing and developing internal digital platforms (e.g., intranets). Experience with Oak and Slack is a plus (more than 3 years of channel management).
- Strong editorial, script writing for speeches and videos, and video production skills
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills - proven experience of managing many stakeholders in a dynamic environment, all with lots of sometimes conflicting priorities.
- Excellent event management experience
- Proven examples of influence when advising senior leaders.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing multi-channel internal communications strategies.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools to produce high-quality internal assets yourself.
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude and a deep understanding of how internal communications drives employee engagement and cultural alignment.
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.

What is the magic of ITV?
It starts with a simple love of television. Watching it, creating it, talking about it. Whether it’s daytime or primetime, for downtime or anytime.
We’re inspired by our audiences. Who helps shape what we make. Standing shoulder to shoulder with them. Because what matters to them, matters to us.
Starting conversations. Winning hearts. Changing minds and sometimes even society itself. Big or small, what we make makes an impact.
