Talent & Resourcing Assistant , ITV Studios - 6 Months FTC
The Role
Workplace: Orange Tower, Media City, Salford (expectation is at least 2 days per week in the office).
Salary: ITV is an accredited Living Wage employer and will pay no less than the Living wage for any role.
The team
Behind every great ITV Studios production is an incredible team. And behind every incredible team is brilliant off-screen talent support.
We’re looking for a Talent and Resourcing Assistant to join our behind camera Studios Talent Team in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and wants to build a career in recruitment, HR or television production management.
The role
You’ll support the end-to-end recruitment and contracting process across our ITV Studios labels, helping us attract, hire and onboard brilliant and diverse talent.
From raising vacancies in our systems to coordinating interviews, supporting outreach events and ensuring compliance checks are completed, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive talent service.
You’ll work closely with talent team colleagues, building strong relationships across production teams, HR and external stakeholders.
Production schedules can change quickly, so you’ll need to be comfortable managing shifting priorities and occasional last-minute requests — but you’ll be fully supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Experience providing administrative support in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Experience maintaining accurate records or data using systems such as spreadsheets or recruitment platforms
- Experience supporting meetings, interviews or small-scale events
- Strong communication skills (for example written skills such as social media posts, newsletters or coursework)
- Evidence of learning new systems or processes and applying them effectively
- A demonstrable interest in recruitment, HR or television production management
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Some understanding of employment and GDPR legislation and its application in the context of recruitment and contracting (further training can be given).
- Experience of, or clear interest in, working in a film/television production environment and knowledge of the roles and skills required to make a successful team.
- Experience of supporting recruitment processes using a range of approaches, systems and software packages in a fast turnaround fluid working environment.
- Experience of assisting with campaigns, events and initiatives to attract new talent using a wide range of marketing tools including social media.
- Experience working collaboratively with others to solve problems and improve ways of working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management together with the ability to build positive relationships with external customers and internal stakeholders.
Please note, on occasion we may receive a very large volume of applications which means applications for a role may close earlier than the referenced closing date. We’d encourage you to apply as soon as possible if interested.
Closing date: Sunday 8th March 2026
