
Technology Delivery Lead - Oracle Fusion

The role
We are looking for a Technology Delivery Lead - Oracle Fusion to support key initiatives that have the ITV Finance and HR technology landscape at their core.
This role will be overall responsible for the delivery of the Technology elements of a number of Oracle Fusion related initiatives, delivering agreed scope on time, within budget and in line with quality criteria.
You’ll be responsible for defining, prioritising, designing, building, assuring and deploying process and technical change into the Finance and HR stack, primarily Oracle Fusion, partnering with the functional continuous improvement teams, process owners and business leads. You’ll lead the technology delivery activities, which will be delivered by a team of ITV and, in some cases, third party resources.
The team
The role reports into the Head of Corporate Services Technology and will be leading mixed teams of technical resources to ensure project delivery. The resources will be a combination of dedicated and part time on the various projects. The role will interface with business management and stakeholders across the projects as well as key suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Delivery Management
● lead and run the day to day implementation for initiatives
● all aspects of control, quality risk and issue management for delivery and performance of internal teams and suppliers
● planning and forecasting for successful delivery including managing timelines, milestones, backlogs, resourcing
● coordinate delivery activity across multiple teams to reach end to end outcomes for the business.
● manage and orchestrate the test and launch phases of delivery.
Tracking and reporting of delivery status and progress
● provide visibility/surfacing of delivery status and roadmaps for senior stakeholders
● management and visibility of now/next/later/risks/issues/blockers,
● manage decisions and actions required of senior stakeholders
● provide updates within programme processes
Commercial management
● manage relationships with contracted suppliers
● get good value from contracts and suppliers
● manage contract delivery including milestone sign off, acceptance, issue resolution, performance and quality
Key criteria:
For this role we need you to have senior level experience in the following areas:
- Proven experience of delivering multiple Oracle Fusion-based solutions, including delivering business requirements through standard Oracle functionalities
- Experience of transforming Finance business processes
- Experience managing multiple third party service providers - planning, implementing and integrating solutions from multiple vendors, also using in-house delivery teams
- Can adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Reacts to project adjustments, issues and changes promptly and efficiently
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria):
- Ability to work under pressure and self-manage workload priorities and deadlines accordingly.
- Self-motivated and able to work on multiple activities at once with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of structured thinking and analysis processes, with ability to solve problems, with methodical and collaborative approaches.
- Flexible, adaptive and responsive to changes, incoming issues and new ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong productive and collaborative working relationships with your stakeholders, whether senior execs, peer level business team leads, third party suppliers, operational, product or engineering roles.
- Ability to unpick complex situations and to bring multiple stakeholders and resolvers together to define a way forward.
- Ability to read communication and working styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
